After two months of use....
I've had the set for two months now.

From ordering to delivery to product quality, this was a very pleasant online purchase experience.

After narrowing my selection to Sharp, Sony, and Samsung, the Sammy won out based on picture quality and overall cost per feature. In deciding between the 650 and 750, the bezel on the 650 has a more elegant look. I thought the clear frame on the 750 looked and felt cheap, and prone to scratches, plus, I didn't need the additional features of the 750. The red tint of the TOC bezel on the 650 is barely noticeable, and provides subtle warmth to the frame. I have TV mounted directly on the wall and it looks like a piece of art.

The picture is excellent and I have had no problems with this set. Since my viewing room has windows on both side walls, I was concerned about reflection. Like other reviewers noted, this is not a problem (unless you sit at an extreme angle with the screen black.)

I recently tried the photo view mode. It was seamless. The TV recognized the camera device plugged into the USB port and displayed a slide presentation. Using the remote, I easily navigated through the pictures on the camera.

I LOVE IT!!!
I ordered my tv off of amazon on thursday night. i got a call on monday morning that it would be delivered later that afternoon. we unloaded the tv and set it up. it looked perfect! no scratches, no dings, everything was great! i was worried about broken pixels too, but i inspected every inch of the screen and i found nothing!

i was a little worried buying from amazon bc it's not a brick and mortar store, but from all of the positive reviews, i decided to give it a try, and im glad i did. i saved $800 by buying it online. it feels like a sturdy, lasting tv (the spin wheel ipod wannabe selector is the only thing i could live without, but its a nice addition for something new).

the tv is great. i did a lot of research before buying it and im sure glad i did buy this one. samsung is a very reputable brand that stands up there with sony in quality. im hoping that this being a higher end LCD it will give me many years of viewing pleasure.

You always feel great in picking a winner!
I've had the LN52A650 for just over two months now and what can I say. It is absolutely the best price performing LCD on the market today (in my humble opinion) in the 52" class. Even Consumer Reports recognizes this model and I often use CR as a benchmark when making purchasing decisions.

I waited well over a year for the technology to mature and for true market competition to bring HDTV's within my price range. After agonizing over the LCD vs. Plasma decision, I was gunning for the Sony 52" XBR4/XBR5. Needless to say, Amazon offered a terrific deal on this Samsung model plus free shipping. So I made several trips to Best Buy just to compare the various brands. It was pretty easy to walk away feeling that Samsung hit a home run with their ToC line and I did the deal through Amazon. I received the TV through a third-party shipping company (CEVA) in less than a week. Totally happy with Amazaon since they honored the 30-day post price guarantee and knocked off another $150!

Now if you want a thorough technical review, you'll find plenty of knowledgeable people in these reviews. Do your research like I did. But just let me tell you that you will be in awe when you hook this up to your cable or satellite dish. I have Verizon FIOS and even standard defintion looks great, while HD is utterly breathtaking. I mistakenly bought into HD DVD (just like Betamax), but when I played the Bourne Identity, it was like we were right there on the set!

I have it hooked up to my 5.1 Sony AV Home Theater system and I'm pretty delighted with the audio signal from Verizon FIOS. We only use the TV audio when I connect my camcorder for home movies, and it's sufficient.

Friends and family alike will be impressed, not only with the beautiful, sharp images coming from the flat panel display, but with the overall packaging and ToC design. It is a beautiful piece to add to anyone's family room.

I watch mostly sporting events and the Action Motion Plus feature does the job. I have noticed some blurred images, especially with soccer matches where the camera view is so wide that player detail is very small. I've watched golf, tennis, hockey, baseball, football, etc. and the picture is just fabulous.

On the downside, my wife and I have become couch-potatoes...big time. I can't wait to add the Playstation 3, primarily for Blu-Ray and for some games. My biggest problem now is finding time to get to the gym!

fabulous TV
Have a 42" Samsung in bedroom and replaced my old 50" DLP Samsung with this marvel. Everything is exceptional.

Con. Am experiencing little more glare than I'd like with the screen

Best bar none
Quick review. This had the best picture when I compared dozens at Best Buy side by side. All Samsungs had the best screens; the black is pitch and colors beautiful and sharp. Amazon had about $700 off the competition, so I bought it. This is simply and by far the best purchase of just about any thing in my life. All Pros, I can't think of a Con. It even makes many of the old shows (B&W and Color) look HD: I was watching some 50's movie and it looked like it was filmed yesterday with quality video. This is the best TV I've ever seen and by far ever owned.
