Sounds like you are speaking from a fish bowl
I have used the T305 and thought it was great. When my wife needed a hands free unit, I gave her my T 305 and I purchased the T505. It is definitively more complicated the T305 and has more features. Every time when I spoke with someone I was told that I sounded distant as if I were in a fish bowl. It was differcult for people to hear me. I never had that problem with the T305 so I purchased another T305 and I am using that. It may have been that the unit I purchased was defective. 2008-11-30

Hoped it would be better
I was excited when I first got the unit. After I finally got it to pair with my Moto Q9c phone I tested the music through the FM band. The sound was okay until it reached certain mid range frequecnies and the were fuzzy and buzzed so I turned it off. The next time I got in the car it would not work untill I turned both the phone and the T505 off and re-paired. It worked until I tried it the next day. The same thing happened and I had to pair it again. I am not happy with this product. 2008-11-29

Excellent product
While I purchased this mainly to listen to music on my SmartPhone over FM in the car, I am impressed with how well this sleek little device sounds using just its own built-in speaker. It was very simple to pair this up with my Moto Q9C SmartPhone. Very simple directions. At first, I was not impressed with the FM radio sound quality. Drum beats and deep bass tones sounded really "static-y", even when I put the T505 right next to my clock radio's antenna (you can use it with any FM radio). I couldn't figure out why the sound quality would be so good with the internal speaker yet so bad over FM. I considered returning the product. However, I noticed a little paper with the packaging titled "Additional Product Information" with information for Windows MobileĀ® Phone Users... As it turned out, for Motorola Q series phones, the surround sound feature reduces the sound quality for FM. So on my phone, I went to "Start > Accessories > Audio Enhancement" and set the "Surround Sound" (aka spatial audio) value to zero (0) for the headset and it now it sounds perfect! If you are having that high-static sound problem, be sure to check out your phone's settings because this device works great. Now I use it in the car and at home while on the exercise bike and I don't have to put any headphones on. It's great! 2008-11-26

T505 works great
The T505 works well with my iPhone 3G. My phone detects it as soon as it's turned on. The speaker on this device works well...but can have static if volume turn up too high. I really love the FM transmission. Hearing the conversation over your car speakers is what made my buy this device...and happy I did. This is a great product! No issues to report so far. This would make a great Christmas present for someone in need of a hands-free device...or someone that doesn't like wearing one on their ear. But be warned.....you may look silly to on-lookers when talking in your car. Unless you normally talk to yourself...then this is a win-win. 2008-11-25

Works like a charm
The MOTOROKR T505 Bluetooth Car Kit is every bit as outstanding as the other reviewers have implied. The speaker is quite clear and the unit provides the user the additional option to broadcast through the car speakers. The microphone is sensitive and does a good job of canceling outside noise. The size is just right and the large mounting clip works well. I have it mounted to the grab handle in my Pontiac Solstice, vice using the sun visor and the thing looks virtually like a factory installed unit. All in all, I am more than satisfied. 2008-11-25
