No Wonder It's FREE...
When I signed up to download from Amazon I thought it said you can 'choose' a free song... or something like that... anyway, after installing their 'downloading software' I was redirected to install it AGAIN...
First off -
This 'free' song belongs in the TWEENY Bopper section. It's just awful. Therefore, you can keep your FREE song.
Second-
I'm sticking with iTunes. Flawless integration and a simple shopping experience is what I'm used to.
Get it right Amazon and maybe I'll come back. This is just too GOOOOOFY...

Solid song that even my kids enjoy
I like music. I particularly focus on music for my kids lately. Having a large music collection and twin pre-schoolers has caused a seismic shift in my listening and buying habits that I buy for "us" as well as "me" (let's be honest, i could say i buy for them, but i enjoy it too).
So, imagine my surprise and pleasure when I downloaded Energy and found the kids loving the song. Playing it over and over again like its one of their own, the power pop catchiness with a touch of the grandiosness of the Polyphonic Spree make this well worth a download for all to share.

Worth buying
I got this song as a freebie, but I love it! This bouncy pop song would be well worth paying money for. 2007-12-11

Dreck
Good thing this track is free, because it's garbage. I know pop doesn't have to be complex, but there's more going on here than that. It's boring and unoriginal, and full of cliches. I couldn't even stand to listen more than halfway through. 2007-11-02

Simple fun pop, done right
Pop music isn't supposed to be complex or life-altering. 'Energy' is fun, simple, repetitive. It's got a catchy melody that's hummable, the lyrics don't make me think too hard (I have other music for that!) and it's all performed well. If this had come on my car stereo this morning, I'd have turned it up, not off.
And with album names like 'New Magnetic Wonder' and 'Her Wallpaper Reverie' it seems like their other six or seven albums are worth looking into.
