This product has saved my like. It has saved me hours of frustration avoiding traffic and the sense of security of where I am going. The product is high quality and very accurate.

This Nuvi 650 is no longer made by Garmin, having been replaced with the Nuvi 750. But it has all the features I needed plus a few I didn't expect. The larger screen size is nice for my aging eyes. Other reviews failed to mention that this unit has modes for driving, walking or cycling. This affects what routes the device chooses. About the only negative aspect of this unit is the flip up antenna. Newer versions have an internal antenna. But if you are going to mount this on the vehicle, it makes no difference. If you plan to store it in your purse or pocket, then you have to flip up the antenna to use it. I bought this model because I was impressed with the Nuvi 200 that my friend had. This was actally less expensive even with the larger screen. I love it.

This was definitely the right GPS for my needs....under $200 and fully equipped without advanced features likes Bluetooth that I wouldn't use anyway. I especially like the ability to search for local stores/restaurants which came in handy on a recent vacation trip. The search functionality of this GPS is much better than the built-in GPS in our Acura. My only disappointment was that I didn't get a free upgrade to the 2009 version of the mapping software.

The nuvi 650 Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator was exactly what I wanted and expected. Easy to operate with just enough bells & whistles. It's fast staring up and just makes since. The screen is wide enough that you can see everything needed without obstructing road vision. I am very pleased with the navigator.

This particular GPS is so easy to use, and follow. The one aspect I appreciate is instead of the 200 series, of saying i.e. "turn left in 300 feet" it actually says the street by name, thus avoids any chance of confusion. Plus the screen is more graphic than the 200 series.

The voice is also more human like, as my 11 year old son says "she is nice" lol.

Great value-great price-great unit.
