Not perfect, but good value
Of course, these things are just expensive toys . . .fun to play with.
And none of them have completely accurate maps. But they are very good.
It is helpful when you are travelling on a 10 or 12 lane highway in an
unknown city to be told to "keep left" or "keep right" and knowing how
far you are from your next turn. With the SD card reader I was able to
listen to Harry Potter books while driving across country which really
made the journey more pleasant and go by faster.

This is a good unit for the price. The map Updates available through Garmin.com do take a while to download (even on a high speed connection), however once downloaded, was very easy to install. 2008-11-25
Can't hear you
Windows down, volume at max 100%....and I cannot make out what the directions are telling me. Had to return it. 2008-11-25
So far... so good!
It's a little bit late to indicate direction, so it's very often to pass over original way to go when the address and streets are not familiar with me.
Except this, everything is good!
