Garmin Dash Mount
Works good but overpriced and should have been included with the Garmin GPS I bought in California as the window suction mount enclosed is not allowed. Disappointed my old Garmen Streetpilot friction mount would not work with my new GPS. 2008-09-30
Great Alternative
The Friction Dashboard Mount is a great alternative to the suction cup which, in my experience, usually falls during a trip. This has happened more than once. I recommend this mount since it can be moved anywhere on the dash or between the seats (I can get a signal there) it will not slip.

Must have accessory
This mount allows the unit to be positioned exactly where you want it for best viewing of the screen. Once it is positioned it stays where you put it. It makes it very easy to hide under your seat with out leaving tell tale marks on the windshield for a potential thief to spot. If you need to use your GPS in multiple vehicles, it is the only way to go. 2008-09-30
