Good Product
I don't have an 'Ollie North' pile of papers to shred - just the normal household papers & old bank statements. This machine is much quieter than our previous (10 year old) shredder. I've put 6 sheets in at once - no problems. The sensor element that surrounds the paper feed does stop the machine when you touch it with your finger - a nice safety feature. Overall, this product works as advertised and I'm quite happy with it. 2008-11-15

Great Shredder
I've only had this shredder about a month, but so far it is fantastic. I no longer have to open all those credit card offers in order to shred them. It even tears through the ones with plastic cards inside. Don't know if it actually does 8 sheets at a time, but it hasn't stopped with anything that I have put through it. I would definitely recommend this shredder. 2008-11-04

Shredds Great!!!
Great shredder. It will pretty much shredd everything you put in it (credit cards, paper, multiple pages, etc.). Awesome deal for the price!!! Highly recommend. 2008-11-02

Decent shredder
I bought this because my old shredder barely shredded one piece of paper. This one is much quieter, a good thing. The safety feature of turning off if a hand gets too near the feeder is great. But it was advertised as a cross-cut shredder and it's doesn't do much cross cutting. It mostly strip cuts and then crumbles the strips. I haven't send a credit card through it yet, I'm not sure it won't break the machine. The shredder comes with one basket, which fills up very quickly. Be careful--when you see white through the plastic lens, empty it right away. Otherwise, it may overfill and you'll get crumbled paper all over your floor.Fellowes 32057 Powershred P-57Cs Shredder 2008-11-02

pretty good but . . .
it doesn't shred anything too "thick," which means it won't shred those credit card junk mail offers we all get unless you open the junk mail, separate it into parts, and then shred (and who wants to do that?). oh well. 2008-11-02
