GPS
This is a good product. The only problem is that it told me to do a left turn into a oneway street. That's about it.

Great Product
I bought many GPS but none satisfied me with all expectations. Garmin Nuvi 660 has all the features and so user friendly.

BEWARE! Navigator Battery is NOT REMOVABLE!
The biggest drawback of this navigator is that manufacturer is still continues to make them with no access to the battery.
So how it can be a PORTABLE navigator than?
Let's say you are riding a bike or hiking with this navigator, and in 4-6 hours your battery run out of juice, and you STUCK in the middle of forest?
That's not nice at all!
Now if you could change a battery, you just put a fresh one, and you are on your way again!
The other point - once you recharge the battery installed inside the devise for 500 - 700 times it will be almost dead and not to hold a charge.
What it means for you - you have to Pay BIG BUCKS for TECHNICIAN to INSTALL A NEW BATTERY.
GARMIN, COME ON, FIX THIS PROBLEM, than you might have an Awesome product.

Garmin nuvi 660
I'm disappointed that Garmin will not allow the gift I purchased to be registered by the owner without a copy of my receipt.

Great while the warranty lasts. A brick, once the warranty runs out.
The GPS worked flawlessly for at least a year - it was a bit of a marriage-saver, to be honest - and my wife and I are unanimous in that. But shortly after the warranty expired, the unit became completely useless due to what appears to be a permanent loss of satellite reception. As the Garmin website instructed me, I updated the software, performed a system reset - nothing worked. I called Tech Support, who were unaware of the problem and suggested that I send the GPS to them for repair. Since the warranty expired, the charge would be $200. I said "thanks, but no thanks!" (No, really!)

A quick search on the interwebs turned up many, many similar cases - a common scenario is that the Nuvi 660 unit just a couple of months outside of warranty permanently loses satellite reception and becomes a brick. One theory that I saw was that a diode between the antenna and the internals of the unit burns out, which means that the signal from the antenna never makes it in.

I'll be searching for a new GPS and in all likelihood, it will NOT be a Garmin.
