I usually purchase this ink for my Canon printer from Amazon.com because with the free shipping it is a better deal than I can get anywhere else and I don't have to drive somewhere to get it. 2008-06-20

This, of course, is Canon's own ink so it's the best choice for their printers and this is the best price I could find on the web for this complete package of actual Canon colors. 2008-06-18

It's ink...
...and it does the job it's supposed to do. I let the old cartridge go a long time after it first told me it needed replacing - and I'm glad did. Eventually, it stopped printing with a much sterner warning and that's when I finally replaced the cartridge.
It's a little unnerving when the people who make a living selling new ink cartridges are the ones who decide when the old one is empty. And, to be honest, the old one looked like it still had more ink in it - but what can you do? I still question how running out of ink completely can "damage the printer" and "void the warranty".

Canon Ink, no substitutions
This is the OEM ink product, and works as expected. I don't know for sure if substitute brands work as well, but this is good, does not clog my printer or leak all over the place. While Canon is more expensive than the substitute brands, I know that my paper and printer and office will stay clean and neat, at least as far as ink spills go. 2008-05-27
