I have had this mp3 player for 3 years and I really like it. It was inexpensive and even though the "manual" and disc for instructions are almost worthless, its easy to figure out. I leave the battery out of it when not using it, cause it will eat batteries like crazy... 2008-10-25

The product performs as advertised. It is easy to use and simple to figure out, despite the fact it comes with virtually no instructions. The only down side I have seen is regarding battery life. It is an energy hog and I find I don't get close to the advertised 19 hours of battery life. Six to 8 hours would be more like it. In retrospect, I wish I had spent a little more and gotten a unit with a rechargeable battery. 2008-10-24
Great for the money
I purchased this mp3 player because I had heard good things about it. I haven't been disappointed by it yet. It's easy to use and stores a good amount of music. The earphones that come with it are comfortable. The battery life is impressively long, too. Great for long car rides.
The only gripe I have (and this may be a problem with my unit specifically) is that it sometimes freezes after I turn it on, which is fixed by turning off and then on again.

Best Value MP3 player out there
As I said this has to be the best value for a 2gig MP3 player.
Easy to use and download to using windows media player.
Sound s great even with the smallish earbuds that it comes with.
So easy to use I even got a second one for my wife.

nice player but...
i have a similar sansa with a 512mb capacity. this one seems identical except for memory capacity. its lightweight and easy to use with one hand (while jogging for instance) with a adjustable blue backlit screen.
i dont use much of the playlist features but the particular model i received seems to make my mp3s skip. i dont know if its my music or a problem with the player itself.
