I got this camera for my 5 y.o daughter for Christmas, as she had been asking for a camera but I didn't think she was ready for an "adult" digital camera. She really enjoys the camera, and is able to use it on her own. I like the easy grip design, and also the dual viewfinders. The images which can be used within the pictures are also fun. I'm unsure of the quality of the printed pictures, because we haven't printed any yet, but the actual utilization of the camera seems to be easy and fun for young kids.

My 3 yr. old used to always take my camera and use it. She took wonderful photos considering her young age, So i bought her this so she had her own camera. She absolutely loves it. It also has a few games on it which she understands and can play. She plays with this toy so often, and takes it everywhere...BEST part is, she has dropped it plenty of times, and not a single scratch, dent, etc...AND the batteries havent fallen out like they would on a real adult digital camera (its happened to me plenty of times)! This was her favorite gift from "Santa" and to tell you the truth, its my favorite too. I love to see her growing talent!

My 4.5 year old daughter opened this present and thought it was a toy at first, but when she realized it was real, her face REALLY lit up. She figured out how to turn it on without any help and started taking pictures right away. The "OK" button on the back is easier for her to push to take the picture than the button on top, but it is nice to have the option. She also liked using the screen to center her pictures. It was a hit with all the cousins too-from ages 7 to 9. They all had fun trying the features that add cute frames or funny ears to the pictures. We love that it came with all the necessary cords and had everyone laughing when we hooked it up to the TV to show what the world looks like to a kid. The flash could be stronger-some of the pictures are too dark and the resolution isn't the greatest, but, hey, it is a KIDS' camera. I saw warnings that it burned through batteries, but with our old re-chargeable batteries we didn't have a problem. It is worth every penny we paid for it. She declared it the best present she ever got.

Santa brought 2 for our girl and boy, and they LOVE them. Takes fair quality pictures and short videos, can add funny cartoon elements to the pics. The battery life has been fine (3 hours and counting) using some new Eneloop rechargeables. Definitely the favorite gift of the season, and no more begging to take pictures with their parents' camera!

The only down fall i have seen with this item is the battery's die real fast but other wise it is good.
