Should have read the specs closer
While this camera is very durable and easy for my 3 year old daughter to use the picture quality is horrible. I did not realize that it was only 1.3 megapixels. In hindsight, I would have just given our old 4 mp camera to her. 2009-01-08
Good Kid-Tough Camera
We bought this camera for our 3 1/2 year old, and she really enjoys it. It's sturdy and actually takes decent pictures. One small disadvantage...when the batteries are low or dead, there is no indicator--the camera simply won't turn on. Other than that, it's a good product for a young child. 2009-01-07
Sarah and Harrison's camera's
We have given 2 of these camera's to two different and unrelated children. The cameras are excellent, well encased and fun to use. They connect well to the computer for downloading pictures.

Good fun, keeps your own camera out of their hands
We have two of these for our twins and they like to see the picture on the back after taking it. I was not expecting the picture quality to be great (not compared to our adult camera for $$) but the actual quality is lower than I thought it would be. It is not as good as my 1.3 megapixel phone camera even those it is supposed to be the same resolution. It DOES do the trick though. They get their own cameras in stead of wanting to take pictures with mom & dad's Nikon D70. :) 2009-01-06
Fun but poor battery life
My kids love this camera. It's fun for me, as well, because the kids take the funniest pictures. The camera is easy to use and durable and holds over 300 pictures. My only complaint is the battery life. It takes 4 AAA's and they die in a day. Rechargeables are the only way to go and it should be included with the camera. It would also be nice to be able to turn the display OFF to save battery life since there is an optical view finder. If you buy this, buy stock in Duracell at the same time. 2009-01-06
