He completes the Set
My kids love this toy and this entire set! He completes the set, he is the prince for the princesses. Oh wait, there are 2 princeses with this set. And after watching the DVD I realized the 2 princeses are friends with a set of twin boys that turn out to be this Ken Doll. So if you want a prince for each princes, then you should buy 2 of these dolls. They only made the one doll, since they are twins. And the guitar is nothing. It is not a toy that can be removed.
Every princess needs her prince, but this one is share since we only have one. They are hard to find now. So are most of the items in this theme.

Plane Ken
I got it for my 4yr. old daughter this Christmas. He completed the Diamond Castle Group but that didnt mean that he was really needed. My daughter wasnt really impressed by him or his paper guitar. My advice is that only if you are a die hard fan of Ken and really need him for your collection, you might be better off without it. Save yourself some money. 2009-01-06

imaginitive fun w/ ken doll
most people are familiar w/ product and probably don't need review. it's a ken doll...imaginitive play abounds. although, i may be krimping my daughter's style as previously she was using a hand-me-down barbie w/ chopped off hair and no clothes for her male substitute since she didn't own a ken doll...where there's a will.... 2008-12-16

"Featured" guitar is a joke!
I purchased this doll online as a Christmas present for my daughter. She doesn't really care about the story, but wanted to have a prince for her princesses. However, her favorite quality of this particular prince is his guitar. I figured that it was a great choice, especially since the description states that the doll, "features Ian's gem guitar." So I was expecting something more than very thin cardboard, attached to the packaging, with no real way for it to be held or played with by the doll. Now I'm not sure if I should still give it to her and risk possible tears on Christmas morning when she discovers the guitar was basically a scam, or try to talk her into choosing a different prince to accompany her princesses and return this one. I'm very disappointed that I should even have to be making this choice. Shame on Mattel for marketing it in this manner when it would have cost so little to have done it right! 2008-11-21

Barbie & The Diamond Castle The Twin Musicians
The handsome and rogue heroes Ian and Jeremy are featured here, bestowed with their gem guitars and dressed in fashions from the movie. They make the perfect accompaniment to the beautiful Emma and Isabel dolls for girls to play out all their adventures on the way to discovering the magical castle, and learning the power of friendship. Dolls cannot stand alone. Each sold separately. 2008-06-25
