Great Deal! Works well (mostly)
We got one of these portable players for long car trips and evenings at home when someone wants to watch a DVD on their own. The player is easy to use, the battery lasts long, and the workmanship appears good.
My only complaint is that films (even letterbox editions) do not fill the entire screen. I searched the manual and cannot find anything helpful. I am about ready to contact SONY directly. This is annoying but not the end of the universe --- overall a great buy.

Nice portable DVD
This was a gift for my 12-year-old grandson, and he loves it! He can watch movies or play with his games that have DVDs as part of the game without having to wait to use the family TV. 2009-01-08

DVD Player has great picture quality. Plays CD's also. Only drawback, volume could be a little louder- better with headphones. Would recommend. 2009-01-07
