Quite powerful!
A couple of months ago, I purchased the Motorola T505 hands free unit which had really great reviews. I'm very happy with it, the sound quality is very clear and will even work though my car's stereo (but doesn't need to).
Recently, I had an interesting experience with the T505. I live in a condo. My car is parked in the garage at ground level. My condo is 4 floors up from the ground. I don't usually have to turn off the T505 when I leave the car because the bluetooth connection normally breaks by the time I get to the elevator (it also turns itself off after 10 mins of no connection). Usually but not today.
My cell phone was ringing and I could not hear the person on the other end, so I hung up and tried to call back. I still couldn't hear anything. Then I notice, the bluetooth symbol is still blinking on my phone. The T505 is still connected. I had to go back down to the garage and turn it off before I could use the phone.
If you want a handsfree unit with a strong signal and clear audio, I highly recommend the Motorola T505. Just remember to turn it off when you leave the car. :)
Also, since I live in the Los Angeles area, it's a bit difficult to find and station that the T505 can play through for a long period of time. The airwaves here are very crowded. In a more open area it works fine but as I said in a large city, it's hard to use that feature. I haven't missed it though because the speaker is so clear.

The best by my test
I needed a speakerphone to take incoming calls while I'm on the road for work. I drive a pickup truck which is not the quietest of vehicles. Most important to me was sufficient volume and sound quality on both ends of the conversation. Nothing fancier than that. So, based on internet reviews, I tried the Motorokr T505, Blueant Supertooth Light, Blueant Supertooth 3, Jabra SP5050 and Parrot Minikit. Basically, they all worked as advertised. In town and at low speeds volume on all of them was sufficient. Driving on the highway above 55 MPH they all needed more volume. I got complaints of echos from callers with both Blueant devices. I got the least complaints from callers while using the Jabra SP5050 and the Motorokr T505. I would have liked to have kept the Jabra SP5050 for its looks and simplicity of use but, the volume was just too low for highway use. I settled for the Motorokr T505 because it had the best combination of volume and call clarity on both ends. 2008-08-26

I love this porduce
Love this thing!! I'm one who hates wearing the bluetooth ear pieces. It works great and is very clear and easy to operate. 2008-08-25

Easy To Use
Just a short message here. Although not perfect, this little hands free unit works just fine regardless of your decision to broadcast through your vehicle's FM radio or use the Motorokr T505 as a stand alone unit with its internal speaker. Bottom line: Simple to set up and easy to use.
Regarding charging the unit. The Motorokr comes with a vehicle charger only. If you have a Motorola Razor phone, you can use the same wall charger you are currently using for your Razor to charge the Motorokr. If that is not the case, you can purchase a wall charging unit from Motorola for under $20. Shop around for your best deal.
